Motivational Manufacturing Monday: Trends and Experiences from NPE 2015

Posted by George Korn on Mon, Mar 30, 2015 @ 02:11 PM

Last week, I was fortunate enough to attend the NPE 2015 tradeshow in Florida. With booths and displays covering one million square feet and more than 64,000 attendees throughout the event, the show was great. While being on your feet all day and then entertaining at night makes for a long week, it was still awesome to see all the different companies firsthand.

Manufacturing ERP Provides the Tools You Need to Win

Posted by George Korn on Mon, Mar 09, 2015 @ 01:13 PM

I hope your Monday is treating you right today and you enjoyed your weekend. This past weekend, my family and I attended our little cousin's baseball game. We are trying to introduce our son to different sports to see what sticks. While at the game, I discovered that they don’t keep score or truly record any outs. Posted by George Korn on Mon, Mar 02, 2015 @ 12:59 PM

For those of you who don’t know me, I am an avid runner and cyclist. I try to make time daily, early in the morning, to get in a run and on the weekends, I go for a long run or ride.  Since we moved to a new home recently, I am not nearly as familiar with the terrain and I am trying to pick my new routes.

Sharing Relationships is Key to Ensure Future Manufacturing Success

Posted by George Korn on Mon, Feb 23, 2015 @ 01:06 PM

Customer relationships are key to success in business. While everyone knows this fact, that was the theme among the manufacturing shops I visited last week from Seattle to Portland. My technical adviser, Michael Myers, and I took our show on the road to meet with some customers and I also had the pleasure of speaking at a Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) dinner. The entire trip circled around relationships in business.

50 Shades of Manufacturing

Posted by George Korn on Mon, Feb 16, 2015 @ 01:05 PM

Now that I have your attention - I had an awesome week at the MD&M West trade show in Anaheim and a wonderful time with my family for Valentine’s Day, but we did not see the 50 Shades of Grey movie. I did see at least 50 different clients and prospects at MD&M and heard about how IQMS has had a positive impact at their business.

Executive Forum Inspires with Manufacturing Approaches to Success

Posted by George Korn on Mon, Feb 09, 2015 @ 09:16 AM

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Plastics News Executive Forum at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas. The event had a lot of great speakers and information and a very intimate group size. The event covered many facets, but two things really stood out to me in this trip.
